About Lifestyle Portraiture

When we shoot portraits, we exercise a style called lifestyle portraiture. Lifestyle portraiture is a modern style of photography that produces pictures that emphasize the true personality and character of the subject. It is not about ridiculous arrays of lights, fake setpieces, or forced poses and smiles. By putting people in comfortable environments -- their home, a park, a city street, or our low-key studio -- and letting them stay loose and laugh a little, our approach to photography delivers the kind of results seen in our portfolios.

About Photographic Style

We understand that not everyone wants to express who they really are in photos, and since we are dedicated to satisfying our clients, we are happy to recommend those people to other photographers. We feel that its important that in your search for a portrait photographer, you know what you are looking for. If you want old-fashioned photographs with mottled backdrops and a slight tilt of the head, you may want to look elsewhere.
